Flying Legends tickets

Thu Jun 01, 2006 3:13 pm

Any of youse troops got your advance tickets for Flying Legends yet?
If so, I have a question...
Are they dated for each day.
The reason I ask is, I've been trying to order advance tickets but the IWM ticket form will only let me choose Sat. or Sun., not both. If they're not dated I can just order 4 tickets (2 adult and 2 "geezer"). I could, of course, make 2 separate orders but they'd charge me S&H for each order and I'd wind up saving a whopping $2-3.

Anyone...Bueller...Anyone???

ps. Yes...I tried contacting IWM (3 times) but they haven't answered.

They have been printed with either Saturday or Sunday for at least the last 3 years. Seems a fair bet they will be the same this year.

Thanks Roger, I was afraid that would be the case.

You could try calling the ticket booking line

01144 1223 499353

and placing your order over the telephone.

Bearing in mind the 8-hour time difference, you'd need to call them early in the morning, though.

Tried calling. I keep getting..."Your call cannot be completed as dialed. Please check the number and call again." All the forces are working against me.

I've used a ticket on the wrong day before. That year I wasn't sure which day I'd be able to go and when I ordered the ticket they said it shouldn't be a problem. However I suspect it's down to whoever is collecting the tickets - I didn't mention it was for the wrong day and I don't think they noticed...

If you get through to the ticket office they should be able to sort you out, and you'll also save on the booking fee that you have to pay online. The saving on advance tickets is so little anyway that it's only worth doing to avoid the queues.

did you try the international number mudge? add 0044 for the uk, remove the first 0

0044 1223 499353

OK...that worked. I kept putting in a "0" in front of the 1223 like the IWM website indicated.
Ah 'preciates the hep, y'all.
