White 33 sold

Mon Feb 23, 2026 7:19 pm

Per the National Museum of WWII Aviation's Facebook page, P-38 White 33 has been sold to a new, though undisclosed owner. Hopefully, she stays active and can still be enjoyed by all.

Looks like it flew to Albuquerque yesterday. Will be interesting to see who the new owner is.

When the P-38 arrived to Davis Monthan for Heritage Flight training, it was flanked by the P-51C 'Princess Elizabeth' and P-51D 'Frenesi' - altogether, I think that's pretty solid confirmation.
