Surviving Korean War F-86As

Fri Jan 30, 2026 10:26 am

I'd hoped to include a Korean War survivors appendix in my F-86 monograph but word count meant it had to be left out. So instead I've tidied it up and appended it here for your delight and delectation.

Hope you enjoy. Maybe it will also serve to get a few 'at risk' historic aircraft undercover and safe. F-86E and F to follow.

Great article, thanks for sharing! I was not aware of the "stovepipe" missions and always neat to see F-86's in different colors than natural metal.
