Mark, the accident listing on AAIR (which lists the plane as 42-24199) shows it was assigned to Seymour-Johnson Field in North Carolina at the time. Are there any photos in the accident report? Reason I'm asking is that the wording on the side appears to be painted over the old field code; I'm always looking for stateside trainer codes for John Voss's site.
