Gotcha!!
For those also interested, Duncan is looking for F-86 production photos. I shall see what I have in my files and post a thread.

Thanks Mark: I think we have the same sources: I have all of those

I think the Rocketdyne F-86F and California Boomerang images must be from a Spanish auction website some time ago: I bought the originals from there.
Two shots I'm really looking for are the NAA F-86D forward fuselage that was used for F-86D machine gun trials and subsequently F-86K cannon; also one of the F-86D mock-up.
I've seen both in magazines in the past (probably NAA Skyline) but never been able to get decent photos.

Some of the photos above, the ones where aircraft already have markings, were of the NAA overhaul program in Fresno (IIRC).
There, active duty AC were refurbished (and modifed?) for assignment to ANG units. This was separate from the standard USAF Depot level support which I believe was done at McClellan in Sacramento.

USAF-marked F-86Fs, though looking like a conversion line, was actually the overhaul line set up for USAFE Sabres in Germany.
