Semi-cocooned A-26 at Keesler AAF

Cheap eBay find; fixed it for John Voss's Fuselage Codes site. A-26 at Keesler AAF marked K500:
Image
Caption on back says "B-26 parked at far end of field" so most likely 1948 or so; note the covers on the tires and taped-up intakes plus the little notes taped to the props. Name on the nose looks like May or Mary.

Not cocooned: just the standard tire covers etc.

I also see the taped intakes and notes on the props. I never spent much time at Keesler, but I recall they had a history of tech schools - maybe this was an instructional airframe? Keesler is not an ideal outdoor storage location!
