Waltham CDIA Clock Repair

Sat Jul 20, 2024 9:46 pm

Greetings to all. I wanted to ask the brain trust if anyone has ever had an aircraft clocked repaired recently? The person who repaired mine before has retired so now I'm looking for another repair station.

Thank you in advance for your time,

Lynn

Check with ForgottenField, as I think he still does.

Most aircraft clocks are no more complicated than today's wrist watches. I had my Elgin 37500 serviced by a local watch repair shop when it was needed.

Unless your aircraft clock happens to be digital like my CIRRUS SR22. Which usually means bigger problems if the clock is on the Fritz.

Great point! Lynn don't confuse your Waltham CDIA Clock or my Elgin 37500 with a digital clock.

Family trips take us past Waltham Clock in Ozark, AL ... I was under the impression they were still making new clocks and servicing older models ... the interweb or a phone call could verify that. Ken

If worse comes to worse...

Do an online search for firms.that repair and clean old automobile clocks.
I had the one in my 1963 Avanti renewed.
Or look in Hemmings Motor News.
