More Tallmantz Stuff

Not groundbreaking, but I added a page to my Tallmantz site that features the use of its collection aircraft in advertisements and other media. Looking for more examples if anyone has anything to offer.

That reminds me, circa 1972-3, photos for the Schwinn bicycle catalog were taken at Tallmantz.
I recall one page saying something like..."A B-17 Flying Fortress is a stirring backdrop at Movieland of the Air at Orange County Airport..."
The Duck was also featured.
Wonder if any old catalogs are on ebay?

Yes, very much like that but a closer shot of the various aircraft. There were several different shots.
Also, I think the biplane in the album cover is a WACO, not a Stearman.
Note the ailerons connecting tube, large center cutout on top wing and shape of the lower cockpit line.
Finally, I recall a two page photo spread in TV Guide magazine circa 1970 of a SeaBee going through a desert shack. It was for a TV movie pilot film about a defense attorney or perhaps an episode of The Name of the Game.
I have tried for years to figure out what the production was. However, in checking your list of Tallmantz projects, I don't see anything listed. But given the low value of SeaBees at the time, it makes sense.

Oh my gosh, I think I might've lusted for a "ten-speed" like those in the picture even more than a B-17 in 1972, when I was 12 years old. Either was way out of my humble reach, though, so a pretty moot contest...

Thanks, I have checked it before.
That site is pretty Eurocentric and not much help with some of the older American TV films.
