Ex Mantz FG-1D N63382 (BuNo 88086)

I've added a page to my Tallmantz site on this FG-1D (N63382) owned by Paul Mantz and, later, Tallmantz Aviation from 1957 to 1966. This Corsair was a Bendix racer in 1946 and 1957 and was flown by Vought Aircraft as a corporate aircraft in the mid 1950s but, beyond that, it has not enjoyed much utilization. There is nothing to suggest Mantz or Tallmantz used it for any projects, and after 1966 it has pretty much stayed off the radar screen. It was purchased by Kermit Weeks in 1983 and was in disassembled storage for decades. The center section was shipped to Australia for a spar rebuild in the early 2000s; as far as can be determined, it was completed around 2018 but is still there. I was hoping to get an update from the Kermit Weeks operation but have not heard back to date. If anyone has an update on this airframe, I'd like to update this new page with such information. (There were circa 2016 photos of the airframe in Florida here on WIX but they seemed to have disappeared from the site, at least via search engine.)
