... getting very close to flight. This is the ex. late Glyn Powell T43. NZ2308 for those wondering. And it's heading to Rod Lewis (Lewis Air Legends) in Texas. This is after Rod sold his previous Mossie to Charles Somers a few years ago. Another Mosquito coming from Avspecs for Peter Monk in the UK next.

No clues yet as to the scheme this one will wear that I'm aware of. Hopefully another unique paint scheme.

I absolutely love this.
Simply remarkable that these folks are cranking out so many Mosquitoes. I'm glad that Glyn was able to fly in KA114. None of this could have happened without his vision.

Avspecs have a B.IV project for sale (DZ452, an ex-Highball a/c) which could/would be No.6 and likely the final one.
This was the a/c that had supposedly been the one that the now defunct UK Pathfinder group owned, or had reserved for ownership, until they switched to the ex-Glyn Powell T.43 that is shown in the OP. This was then later was sold or allocated to Rod Lewis when the Pathfinder group failed to raise the funds, and have effectively now ceased to exist as a group.

Probably also worth mentioning airframe #0, the proof of concept one that is now in Windsor Ont. with the Canadian Aviation Museum. You could say this is a bomber version, adopting serial TA661 (a B.35) although CAM is restoring it as KB161 (a B.XX). They are completing it to airworthy standards with an outside chance that it will be flyable, although taxiable is more likely. I looked it over this summer, it is coming along nicely.

I was able to see the Mosquito Bomber in Kelowna last February, along with the Tempest.
Great to see.
The folks at Kelowna are working cooperatively with Ian Slater from Typhoon Legacy.
Great to see cooperation on these two similar Hawkers in British Columbia.
I'll make a point to visit Windsor next summer.

Take a good look at Lancaster FM212 while you are there. They are doing great work on her. The completed rear turret is a sight to behold, and they did an amazing job of sourcing the proper Martin upper turret as well. Unfortunately, as of this summer, the city (which owns the Lanc) is thinking of taking it away from the dedicated and knowledgeable volunteers at CAM and thinking of bidding the rest of the restoration out to some company that maintains street lamps or something; the completed aircraft would then go on display off-site rather than at the airport where it can be part of a solid aviation collection. I haven't checked in for the last 5 months, just hope saner heads have prevailed or will eventually prevail.

I for one am selfishly hoping she'll emerge in her RNZAF silver paint scheme, but regardless I just hope I get the chance to see her fly before she heads to the US. This one's the daddy of them all and it's so, so exciting to see her so close to completion.

Can't say I'd be upset seeing it in a RAAF silver scheme either (which I think you would have to look at the applied serial to tell apart from an RNZAF one).

The benefit of the sensible NZ CAA policy(!!) regarding "Identifiable Paint Scheme and Marking" is that displaying the current registration is not required.
