Can't find this mentioned here at WIX, but #90 "Thunderbird" flew its maiden flight last week.

(I have to start remembering to make a new thread when announcing these news items, rather than just posting in this thread as I do: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=65826&start=405)

With the flight testing having been completed last week, the P-51C has now been in the process of being painted in the original cobalt blue #90 Thunderbird paint scheme.

Speaking of AirCorps Aviation restorations, the Pacific Theatre combat-vet razorback P-47D they just recently completed for the Dakota Territory Air Museum is scheduled to make its public debut, now in its paint scheme as Bonnie, at an event being held by the DTAM in Minot, ND this weekend.
