I heard that the Tucison Foundation (Owners of Placid Lassie) bought a PBY that needs to be restored and is moving it from Florida to Poughkeepsie N.Y. I was wondering if anybody had any more information.
Thanks,
Phil

From the Tunison Foundation Facebook page:
"The Tunison Foundation plans to restore this plane over the next several years. A project to engage volunteers, teach them some new skills, and gain an appreciation for an aircraft that was instrumental at sea in helping win the War."
They have also stated that it will be a restoration to airworthiness.
