Same deal - trying not to have many exact duplicates from 1975;

What an awesome set of old school photo's!!
- the Sabre is the ex-Leroy Penhall/ Bob Hoover N8687D that had just been bought by the Whittington Bros.
- the Mustangs; Color Me Gone, El Gato Rapido, Miss Kat Brat, CF-FUZZ,ect.
cool stuff. 8)

Does anyone remember who had the black FG-1D (46) and which one it was?

FG-1D Corsair is Bu92508 N46WB, owned at the time by the Whittington Bros.

Note that this and #86 alongside are siblings;

Not a Warbird, but does anyone else remember the Turboprop Great Lakes?

Id personally be interested in seeing more early shots of FIFI from the 70's and 80's...interesting to see how the scheme developed over the decades.

So cool, thank you! :drink3:
1976 was my second year at Oshkosh, been there every year since (except for 2020, but that wasn't my fault!)...

Yes, Chris...a thousand thanks for the nostalgia trip; the annual pilgrimage began in the '70s for me as well.

The XP-51 in flight left an especially strong impression on my younger self...such a graceful, silver dagger in the sky! :heart:

Keep the pics coming (if you've got 'em)!

Awesome shots here. Can't believe that FIFI is coming up on 50 years of air show duty.
