I saw on the internet today that a warbird Navion was involved in a midair collision at Falcon Field, Mesa, AZ. The Navion crashed on landing and was basically destroyed. Its two occupants sustained injuries but non-life-threatening. The other aircraft landed safely and its occupants were not injured. From the photos I saw, the Navion was a real beauty. Glad that everyone lived to fly another day!

From here:
https://news.yahoo.com/midair-collision ... 01655.htmlMy friends in Phoenix tell me it was a formation flight and they had a mid-air collision while participating in a flyby. All of this is very preliminary, so take it with a grain of salt.

Very glad to hear everyone survived ok. I hate seeing a Navion (and a beautiful one at that) destroyed - I have a soft spot for them because as a kid I spent many hours flying with my father in his Twin Navion. Boy, are they tough airplanes.
