The IWM Swordfish NF370 at Duxford has the radar fit

It wasn't until they installed the Mk.III Swordfish at Duxford that I knew they had ever been operated by the RAF.
I'd always assumed they had been solely Fleet Air Arm.
A bit of a culture shock for an RAF pilot I guess.

I notice that in the first two photos shown, the photographer chose the *identical* viewpoint for each. Trivial, perhaps, but something rarely done (or noticed).

Kind of a testimonial to how much drag producing stuff you can hang on an airplane and still have it fly.

It probably doesn't make much difference to a Stringbag. It's got as much drag as a brick outbuilding already.
