When will the average Joe and his family get to visit the Natl Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, Florida again, if ever? Access to the museum has been limited to Dept of Defense ID cardholders for several years now apparently because of the most recent terrorist type attack there. Thanks.

Far be it for me to tell the Navy anything (in the service, I worked with...and for...some great Navy officers, I enjoyed the experience)...
But having limited access seems to show where aviation seems to stand with the admirals who control the budget.


A suggestion, I bet the Seabees could build a road in a weekend.

I'm not sure just which one it was. The one I'm thinking about was maybe 3 years ago.

I researched it and you are correct,3 years ago in November.They stopped flight training until February of 2020 and told the foreign students they were not allowed to bring their guns on base anymore(for what that is worth).I thought there might have been another one I didn't hear about.
