A P-3 Restoration Project for Someone with a lot of time

Actually, it’s probably a bit too late. These shots were taken in Chico, California on June 14, 2008 when I was there flying DC-7 Tanker 66 for a bit of pre-season work on some fires near Paradise before the disaster there a few years later.

It needs a little work…..

Satellite shows two pair of Orlons at Chico, but the two Neptune's and the Orion in your photos are gone......

The ex- A.U., ex-Jimmy Leeward Grumman Guardian is still sitting outside the Chico Air Museum
