This is still the same computer. Last time it was a drive failure that required a new boot drive and i was able to have it rebuilt. This time something fried on the mother board.

I have the site itself backed up but some of the image archives that were recently added had not bee backed up yet (about 2000 new pictures. On the good side the failure is not hard drive related and I will be able to pull the hard drive that is WIX HQ and they should be safe.

This will be the third computer in 25 years of the Warbirds Resource Group so not doing to shabby.

That's not bad at all... I think I've gone through more in that period! As long as your data is safe, the rest is hardware that can be replaced and/or fixed. I had a drive failure last year that scared me.... backups really are important!

I had a drive failure awhile back that took all the e-mail with it. Now I have the e-mail accounts send copies to a catch all gmail account to have as an archive.

Fund raising update. I have received contributions totalling $600 which is about the halfway point. I appreciate all the help and I'm touched by the continued support. Without you guys and gals I would have given up on the site long ago. As it is we are celebrating the 25th anniversary of the site this month and the 20th anniversary of WIX in September!
