That last photo is at Cranfield, UK. The then Cranfield College of Aeronautics had both Boulton Paul P.111 VT935 and TSR.2 XR222 in their collection.

That Selfridge hanger looks identical to the ANG hanger at my old outfit. I wonder if these things were built in large numbers to a common plan, like those '50s cinder block 2-bay gas stations?

Where is this Hangar?!!!

Don't know where, but that C-47 - if it's s/n 42-100578 - is a survivor (and D-Day veteran), but apparently derelict. Per Baugher:

(42-)100578 (MSN 19041) to civil registry as N8042X.

From the messages at aviastar.org:

Was R /O on 42-100578 (T2-G) N8042X 83 /437 TCG. Towed gliders D-Day and double tow at Wesel.
2200 hrs.

From airplanemart:

On 26 June 1989, Douglas C-47A N8042X of California Air Tours ditched 5 miles (8.0 km) off Petersburg, Alaska following the loss of fabric from an aileron and the breaking of the chain connecting the left control wheel to the aileron control system; and the pilots' subsequent incorrect assessment of the degree of controllability of the aircraft. The aircraft was on a ferry flight from Petersburg Municipal Airport to Ketchikan International Airport. On 6 July 1989 the aircraft was salvaged with the intention of returning it to airworthiness, but this was not carried out. In 2000, the hulk was reported to have been sold for restoration and placement on a pedestal at Juneau International Airport. As of 2005, the hulk was still at Petersburg.

That C-47 had a long stint with the 167th Fighter Squadron (WV ANG) and was formerly known as "The Mountaineer". I believe this shot is the hangar at Sheperd Field, in Martinsburg, WV, and was taken sometime between 1955 and 1957.
