I've seen them up close, they are complete with all avionics and Live ejection seats. They look to be in good condition. But they have been parked for years. I hope someone saves them.
THey are located in Northern California.

Not just any Canberra but "raspberry ripple" too. As of April 2018, the closest one looked like it could fly off at any moment.

How Cool - but can you imagine the mountain of cash to restore and fly?? Still it is fun to think about!

The Albatross pictured there is also in the auction.

I saw a person from Beegles Aviation, or rather B.A.S. now, mention they acquired the Albatross. I don't see anywhere to bid on the Albatross so I would believe its not available.

Group,

The Auction concluded and one of the Aircraft (N30UP) went to a museum in England, and I won the second aircraft (N40UP).
I am still trying to contact the Museum and check on their plans for the aircraft.
My understanding is they plan to part it out, but still needs to be verified.

The current plan for N40UP:
1. put power on and check Electric System
2. Attempt engine Starts (Carts and/or Huffer).
3. check for Hyd/Fuel leaks
4. try and taxi the aircraft.
4. Check Pitot/Static system.
5. Conduct Gear swings
6. Change tires, check brakes
7. Get ferry permit, to take Aircraft to California city Airport (L71)
8. Continue restoration to flight.

Currently looking for a set of maintenance manuals for the Canberra B.6 aircraft.

Thank You
Avn-Tech

CONGRATULATIONS on your acquisition of Canberra N40UP, Avn-Tech!

Wishing you all the best on getting it ready to ferry to California and your continued plans to restore to flight status. I love that beautiful paint scheme and I hope you are at least considering keeping it like that.

Please keep us posted on your efforts, and hope maybe we may see this beauty flying at an air show someday....

I have located the person who has the original log books and FAA inspection program. Currently working on a deal to get these papers back to make it easier to re-register the aircraft. They also have a cash of spare parts for these aircraft.

Also decided to start a non-profit to manage and restore the aircraft.
