The University of Hawaii's PBY drops a memorial wreath on Kaneohe Bay exact date unknown but most likely the 40th anniversity of the attack. Pictures by William A. Baker, VP-11 veteran, Pearl Harbor survivor, now deseased

Looks like history will repeat this tomorrow, Friday 21 August, Another PBY is planned to visit Kaneohe Bay

Hi - I was not sure if you were saying that N68740 was the last Catalina to be based in Hawaii or to visit Hawaii - if the latter, then it wasn't. The last that I know of was N5404J when it transited Hawaii en route Tahiti and New Zealand. It left Hawaii 16Jan94 and was lost 150 km N of Kiritimati (Christmas) Island after engine failure and forced landing on the sea.

Thanks for posting those photos.
