The Liberty Belle folks are trying to raise $2600 to purchase some material to fabricate pieces needed for the bomb bay section. After almost one day, 21 people have kicked in nearly $1500 of the $2600 needed. Only $1100 more is needed to accomplish this goal.

Thanks for posting this - I never cease to be amazed at the dedication of people restoring these airplanes. My hat's off to them - and I'm happy to be able to contribute to their efforts, no matter how minutely.

The Liberty Foundation was able to raise a little over $1700 from 27 people in just under three days. They are only $900 away from their goal of $2600. The money will be used to acquire material to fabricate needed parts for the bomb bay section. The way this bird is rising from the ashes is truly amazing. HELP THEM OUT!

It took two months, but hats off to the Liberty Foundation in their first successful go fund me campaign. One small step forward and many many many more to go.
