Or what's righty? (sorry, it was too easy)
Seriously, was the YB-36 completely removed? Is any of the cockpit left after the keychain guys got through with it?

Plane tags has a page for tags from the Soplata aircraft. There are a few pictures of the recovery process and you can see some of the property and what was there.

From what I've seen they started making tags from the rear most section of the B-36 nose section, so the cockpit area still appeared intact.

A little blog entry they did about acquiring some of the Soplata aircraft.

Aw, rats - hate to see another Sabre bite the dust. :( . Wonder why? Corrosion issues?

The keytags are OK, I guess; I'd just rather have something that looks like it came from a B-36 - a window frame, an access panel, that sort of thing.

Some very interesting pics of when it was ''re-assembled'' however and the fuselages going into them for storage.

Seems not a lot of structure left to support it on its own.

Tks for sharing.

Found a few more from the Plane Tag site.

Images are directly from the Walter Soplata family.

No clue if the nose tub got preserved or cut up.
