Mystery Korean War Era? A-4 Leading Gun Sight

Hello
Bought this Hughes Aircraft A-4 leading Gun Sight because it is cool. It looks similar to the F-86 sights used in Korea but it has some differences. Especially the wingspan adjustment scale (goes from 240 to 60 and in the opposite direction as the F-86 sights I have seen) and the lack of the Sight range Window.

I would like to know what type of aircraft this was used on. It has a USAF tag on it with all the numbers.

Have been looking pretty hard and have run out of leads. Any help would be appreciated.

Photos are above.

Best Regards
Rob
