The 381st BG 533rd Sqdn that carried VP fuselage an X tail was that of the B-17 named "Princess Pat"
It has a special meaning to me in that it was the first B-17 that my cousin flew a combat mission. He would go on to complete 35 missions as a RO ..
Years ago, I did a number of embroidery items including the nose art of the Texas Raiders 17
