Met my brother there about 10AM , had a quick pancake breakfast . there were some flights, T-6, C-47 , C-45 ,TBM flying. Brother showed weather on his smart phone and knew the stuff was about to hit the fan. They had the Veteran honor early and then started to park TBMs in hangers. Matt Younkin tore up the sky as usual , can't remember if he landed before booking out for home but he be gone. A jet landed, maybe a L-39, got hangered quickly. Almost bought a R-2600 cylinder jug , decided not to, gotta downsize, but it would have been cool. The no-shows are to be blamed on the weather. Leaving parking lot in a monsoon and at least 5 cars stuck in mud on the "road", thank you CRV 4-wheel drive, drove around them, sorry I couldn't stop. Thought the rain would be later in the day but mother nature rules. Planning on going again, last year was really good. I had the cash in my pocket for a TBM flight, next time.

I got there about 9 a.m., stayed until the skies opened up around Noon. Most of the aircraft cancelled due to weather, but there were still six TBMs present. Charlie Cartledge and Brad Deckert's TBMs flew around a bit early and the "Tennessee Ridge Runner" TBM flew in formation with a T-34 before departing. As pjpahs posted, Matt Younkin flew his show in the morning, the C-47 and C-45 made a bunch of passes including several in formation and there was a lot of T-6 activity. Lots of credit to the pilots for going up before the weather closed in. There was something flying nearly the entire time I was there and it was greatly appreciated.

I'll post some pics when I can go through them. Didn't take many as I'd seen and photographed all the aircraft present before.

Here's some TBM action. I want to once again compliment the organizers and pilots for creating a schedule that was flexible enough to get some aircraft in the air before the weather closed in. Many traditional afternoon airshows would not have been able to pull that off and it made the drive worth it.
