I wonder which B-25 that is? Looks like an F-4 and a Harrier in the background too.

Looks like the stuff I saw sitting outside Tom Reilly's Flying Tiger's Warbird Museum/restoration facility in Kissimmee the last time I was down there.

But that's JUST a guess.

When I saw the post that is what came to mind. However the F9F in this picture is in much better shape. The shot my dad got for me last March of the F9F at the Reilly facility looks much more dissheveled.

That is at Reilly's though its not the F9F I saw before. The F-4 is the same unidentified one thats been sitting there for years.

You are correct Scott. After a second look that is the nose of the B-25 "Killer B", and the wing of the A-26 in the frame.

The 'Harrier' is infact the Kestrel that was at Flying Tigers a while ago. I guess this picture is a year or so old ! Best of luck with the price!

Hi Rob... you are right in that the V/STOL aircraft pictured is a Kestrel, but it isn't the only survivor... there are actually four or five of the original P.1127/Kestrel aircraft surviving. These are some of the survivors, though their locations might be different now...

XP831 - at RAF Museum, Hendon
XS689 - at NASM
XS690 - at Fort Rucker
XS692 - at Virginia Air Park
XS695 - RAF Museum stores

I'm not sure which aircraft the one is at Reilly's place, but it might be a sixth survivor.

the Couger i believe came from the Late Harry Doans collection, when I saw it back in 88 it was just a hulk. If this is the plane then it was asign to NAS Pensacola at one time.

The picture on ebay must be an older picture. Here is the shot my dad got for me last March...



As you can see this is less than impressive.

I think this is a different aircraft. I was there two years ago, and the frame looked not much different than the e-bay photo. I see that the aircraft's location is listed as being in the North Eastern area of the U.S., so it's possible that either the aircraft had been removed from Mr. Reilly's facility before your father visited, OR..... it is a "file" photo representing the type being offered for sale (but I doubt it).

But again, I'm just guessing in all of this.....

Note that the photo of the eBay aircraft shows a two-seater. The Reilly wreck looks like a single seater.
