Mosquito N9099F at Whiteman

Does anyone have photos of N9099F at Whiteman Airpark AFTER it had been cut in half for the aborted transport to the Air Museum?

I have seen a photo somewhete. I always thought it broke in half from being in the elements.

I think I have a distant photo of it (in one piece)
on the flightline from the Fate is the Hunter film pressbook.

BTW: whatever happened to the Mexico City Mossie?
I'm sure its metal bits and dataplate would be worth a fortune today since they are making new wooden structures.

Best pictures were published in an Air Classics back in 78 or 79 that had a four part Mossie article. The plane did just collapse in half as the plywood had rotted away...

The Mexico City Mosquito was one of two, and recently they were both part of a 2018 Air Classics article as well. Both those airplanes are for sale, and while they make new structures in wood, there is a lot of metal needed to make a Mosquito. Engines, landing gear, firewalls, mounts, radiator housings ect... I believe those parts are hangared in the southeast and looking for a buyer for a price just under 7 figures....

Thanks. From what I have read from the various historical journals the aircraft was cut by a team from the Air Museum in preparation for transport. I have seen some photos which show a very clean cut behind the wing.
