B-25K Sighting

I've been following this thread for a long time and it's awesome to see a 'K' in the air. But, is there more than 1 flying? I live in Northern Idaho and have seen one 2 or 3 times now flying around, latest was a few of weeks ago. It's not Special K, since it's natural metal. And it definitely has tip tanks. Any ideas?

I think you mean B-26K...

I'm near Spokane and haven't seen it.
I haven't heard of a 26 around here.
There are a lot of rich folks with airplanes in the Sandpoint area.
Another possibility is the collection near Whitefish, Montana.
Nor is it part of John Sessions Historic Flight Foundation collection, he frequently brings his airplanes to this side of the state from Everett...his B-25 and Pan Am marked DC-3 will both be based in Spokane when his new hangar is completed.
There is also a new collection in Lewiston (lots of "Golden age" civil types, plus warbirds including a P-40, P-64 replica, T-6, PT-22) but they don't have a 26.

I'll ask a friend who is in to warbirds and knows everyone in the region, he might know something. If he does, I'll post an update.

Interesting. Definitely not a K-model, since Special Kay is the only one that isn't pickled in a museum. Could it be an On-Mark or similar conversion?

I heard back from my friend, he has seen it around Spokane recently.
He said he's heard it is out of Hillsboro, Oregon, near Portland.

Thank you guys, so I'm not losing my mind. I don't think it's either bird in the photos, there was no paint at all, unless it's been stripped. Very curious. I'll try to get a pic if and when I see it again.

44-35708 N26PJ is based out of Hillsboro if I'm not mistaken. But as far as I know it has not acquired tip tanks, and it does have some color on it.
