Looks like the TBM project has been picked up by the Pacific Aviation Museum on Ford Island. Anyone know what happened to the PBY project?

Both of these have been for sale recently. I wondered what had happened since they were pulled from the website a while ago and weren't listed as sold. I thought maybe the owner had just been gauging the market and wasn't aggressively interested in selling (then again, why use a broker if that's the case?).

It's strange that the P-40 listing has a photo of a completely different aircraft in the top right of the page. That photo isn't even of a -K, it's of a -N. That P-40K used to be in Aleutian Tiger markings when it was with a previous owner.

I'd love to see Fagen Fighters end up with the P-47... I hope whoever ends up with it flies it regularly. Can never have enough Thunderbolts.

Time to update the entries on both these aircraft

Both the P-40 and P-47 belong to Tom Duffy and were based in Millville NJ. Looks like he's been downsizing his collection in recent years. I think his Spitfire was sold to the Texas Flying Legends.

Well if were throwing out daydreams, I hope the American Airpower Museum acquires her since they lost Jacky's Revenge a few years ago. Hope we see that aircraft emerge eventually.

The P-47 was advertised last year for some time but was taken down without any reason. I had heard it was in pieces or going through a thorough examination at that time though so maybe that was why the sale was halted rather abruptly. There were rumours 'No Guts' was returning to the U.K. at that time too...

If only...............

Not having an airworthy P-47 here after having No Guts for many years and then SNAFU for a few years after that is a big hole in the UK/European warbird scene, especially given the importance of the type with regards to their use by the 8th, 9th and 15th in the ETO (as well as the use of them by the RAF in the Far East)
