Pin-Up Nose Art - NSFW (sorta)

You can't be interested in WWII military aviation without quickly realizing what was probably the subject matter that was most often in the minds of the men deployed over seas... women. This is reflected most distinctly by the choices of nose art on aircraft. Here are some interesting samples, I will add more as I come across them in the WRG archives.

These seven are supplied courtesy of Jack Cook and reflect 8th FG/5th AF P-38L Lightnings on Ie Shima during 1945

I recognize one of those.....Here is another view of one of them. A friend of mine, now deceased, purchased a collection from a flea market. Unfortunately, I did not think to copy the information on the back of them.......
