Anybody know if Harpoon doors fit the PV-1?

Ventura and Harpoon doors are completely different. I'm afraid you might have to fabricate them from drawings.

Thanks gents for your replies. Anyone know if said drawings are readily available?

The
Museum of Transport and Technology in Auckland, NZ has a B-34 Lexington which I think is being restored right now - they may be worth contacting too?

We've already tried MOTAT. We also tried the SAAF Museum in South Africa.

A special source says that NARA should have a set of PV-1 films in Can/Box USN2676a
Cartographic and Architectural Section (NWCSC)
National Archives and Records Administration
8601 Adelphi Road
College Park, MD 20740-6001

If you get copies of the films I can scan them.

It turns out that NASM does have B-34 microfilm that should work. Should you order a copy of the films I would be happy to scan them.
Good luck,

No worries, disappointing to hear that well's dry though. Good luck! I saw photos of the Ventura on Facebook and she looks really good.
