Boeing assists Australian Mustang Project

Hi everyone
The Australian National Aviation Museum is thrilled to announce that Boeing have contributed $10,000AUD to assist with the restoration of our recently acquired Mustang A68-71.
The funds will be used to provide training and materials to a number of young people who want to learn metalwork skills in aviation and other industries. We already have two starting up in a week so the project will start advancing immediately.
The Chairman of the Museum, Ash Briggs, is donating his time, experience and workshop hangar to the project at no charge, and will undertake the majority of the metalwork training.
It is a major step forward for this project and we are grateful for the support of Boeing who realise the importance of preserving Australian aviation heritage (the Melbourne Boeing facility is on the old Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation grounds)

Boeing has done a lot of good work for museums...for years they had a billboard just outside the Dayton, Ohio airport. Periodically, they'd change the Boeing aircraft featured.
My favorite one had a large side view of a B-17.
