Scott,

Here is a link to info on the F-100 that you asked about. Of course the body was too rough to finish in the USAF T-Bird scheme, so Forbes went with the Camo. Check back on the NorCalAAHS website tonight, I should have the Moffett Show up, along with a picture of the F-100.

The Saab is (if i recall correctly) one of five that Forbes owns. It is not N35350 which I've posted previously on the NorCal site.........Roger

Did you get to talk with Duncan? I hope you had a chance to meet him. He's a great guy and a wonderful friend.

I took a really nice picture of Duncan at the Watsonville Air Show along with Mike Hunt. They were both wearing their Air Transport Command uniforms, and it will be on the NorCalAAHS site on July 18th.

Rob, sorry to say, I probably won't make the airshow :( I'm still trying to get settled out here, so my travels are limited for now. However, my airshow calendar for next year is filling up fast

Rob and Roger,
Is the PV-2 in the picture N10PV or N20PV?

Dennis

Dennis, previously registered as N7262C, back when it sat at Schellville Airport for all those years, this plane you ask about is now registered as NL20PV. NL10PV is still sitting at Schellville, and I'll see it tomorrow............Roger

Thanks Roger. NL20PV has an airworthiness certificate as of Sept 15 1995. Does this aircraft fly regularly? It looks great with the gun nose and bare metal finish.

No. unfortunately, neither of the planes fly. 20PV could probably fly, but 10PV would require a bit of work.........

Dennis, I've sent you a picture of NL10PV that I took on Saturday...........
