Any reason why the Cavanaugh Corsair is listed as a FG-1C on thier website? Weren't all 1C's built by Vought?
Isn't it a FG-1D with -5 wings?
Thanks,
Mike

It is actually an FG-1D with wings from an F4U-5, but it always looked a little odd because of this. They have reconfigured the cannon to resemble those from an F4U-1C, which is why they list it as such. It was a terrific idea, and now another lost mark has been resurrected.
Cheers,
Richard
