Guess who's a pilot in "King Kong?"

I was just looking through an Entertainment magazine this afternoon at lunch, and in an article on the recent King Kong remake, aviation artist James Dietz is one of the pilots of the biplanes that bring the ape down! Now how cool is that? I checked online and found a few references to this:

Now I'll have to go see the movie again, I guess. I've posed for a few of his airborne paintings and have been to his house a few times in the past. He's one of the nicest people I've ever met and is a pleasure to work with (of course it helps that I was always a huge fan of his work). I can't imagine a better casting decision in this case!

What a great way to join in the fun! I heard Dietz speak at Oshkosh a couple years ago. Great speaker and great artist! I have a few of his works in my collection.
