1960s Aviation Cartoon

Mon Dec 19, 2005 10:09 pm

Any one out there remember a late 1960s Saturday Morning cartoon show that featured a flying family based out of the San Marcos Airport? I recall they featured a A-26 in the show.

Cartoons

I vaguely remember it...Skyhawks. I was a bit old for saturday cartoons
at that point...gurlz were becoming more interesting. My aviation
cartoon was Clutch Cargo who flew a Bellanca Airbus. It was the first
use of Synchro-Vox animation to superimpose "moving lips" on the
face of the character in order to economize on the production of the
cartoon panels. Kinda goofy looking today...until Conan O'Brien does it.
Beginning in 1959, with a poor rez short video of the Bellanca
