Yes, he did pass away. RIP.
I met him briefly last year. I am sure people at WIX knew him. Dave Hadfield for sure.
Bruce Evans lived in Calgary although he had previous time with Vintage Wings of Canada.

Yes, I knew Bruce. I liked him and flew with him. Here's a photo (from the P-40) of him, and Alf Beam behind.

He was a great guy; enthusiastic and helpful and devoted to aviation.
He Commemorated, Educated, and Inspired.
Fair winds...
Dave

Sorry for your loss Dave. Bruce stopped to talk to my son at the last Edmonton airshow, I appreciated the gesture.
Nice tribute by Vintage Wings of Canada.

I didn't know Bruce and hadn't even heard of him until this week, but that post at VWOC was beautiful. I'm almost in tears.

I was saddened to hear of this, met Bruce in 2011 on the Yellow Wings tour. He was one of those people who inspire you with his passion, intelligence, and love of family. Blue Skies Bruce.
