AAM P-47 possibly down?

It does appear Jackies Revenge crashed into the Hudson, pilot did not get out it sounds like, plane is submerged.

The survivor is unconfirmed, the 'rescued' individual may have been a swimmer.

NJSP reporting one male pilot enroute to hospital with minor injuries. Someone else previously posted they grabbed a swimmer not related to the crash but now reporting "male pilot" so that's gotta be good.

Well, yes....it sucks. But if the pilot survived then AWESOME. And from the video I saw, whomever the pilot was landed a Jug in the water quite skillfully. Given the alternative of crashing a powerless Thunderbolt in the middle of downtown Manhattan, I think this was the best possible outcome of some pretty crappy options.

The NJSP retracted their statement that the pilot was rescued.
