Hoping someone might have info, copies of mission reports or squadron war diary that lists the three B-17Es that flew a photo mission over Guadalcanal and Tulagi on 23 July 1942. Fortress against the Sun has just a brief blurb, not enough to nail down what I am looking for. I have the journal of one of the Marine photographers that flew on this mission and I would like to fill in the gaps. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
