Anyone Here Work at the USAF Museum?

Tue Apr 05, 2016 6:22 pm

I ran into a slide of the USAF Museum's Macchi C.200 on eBay from June 26, 1953, when it was with the Princeton Auto Museum. They might be interested in acquiring it. Photos of serial MM 8146 in the US after the war are very rare.

Here's a link to the auction: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Original-Slide- ... SwzvlW~BbK

Two advertisements that ran in the Grand Island Daily Independent newspaper on August 4, 1943, when Macchi MM 8146 visited Grand Island, Nebraska, as part of the Bundles for America traveling war-relief show. Bundles for America had 320 branches nationwide. Source: Nebraska Air Crash website: http://www.nebraskaaircrash.com/events/display.html
