SpeedDemon:

In regards to Frank Abel's "Dal Air, Inc.", please be informed that this topic is way too complicated to cover on a forum. In summary, to simplify things, he was an arms dealer in the late 1940's initially involved with smuggling P-51D/K's to Israel. Please be informed that I have many documents that pertain to Dal Air that have been declassified over the last thirty years, as well as FAA file summaries about the four P-51C's Abel used to own. Two of these interesting Mustangs became air racers. The other two were supplied to the Aviacion Militar Dominicana (AMD). Finally, Abel, also, was a supplier of a number of T-6's and B-25's to a number of Latin American Air Force's. I hope that this helps.

Before I close, I'll be happy to help you anyway that I can. Please contact me at the following E-mail Address: dienst.john@gmail.com.

Sincerely,

John L. Dienst
