Yale University has recently uploaded a treasure trove of photos dating from 1935 to 1945 - lots of factory photos of B-17s, B-25s, P-51s and C-87s, many of which you may have seen before. I did turn up this interesting little group which you may not have seen, and since I like the prewar stuff, here's a P-36C, S/N 38-20
? at the ASC center at Greenville, SC in July 1943:








Baugher and AAIR don't show any listings for P-36Cs at Greenville; 38-203 and 205 were destroyed in crashes before 1943 so that leaves 200-202, 204, and 206-209 (anyone have the record cards?). Could also be 38-20 if it were brought up to P-36C standard, but
usually it would have been marked "8020"...
