Hi all,
I heard over the Fourth of July weekend that the Grumman F8F Bearcat in Blue Angel markings made a gear-up landing recently. Anyone know anything about this?
I did a search here on WIX and couldn't find much information on it...
Thanks!
Cheers,
Rob

I'm guessing you're talking about N68RW?
I couldn't find anything on any recent incidents with it...

I recall seeing a pic of it with bent prop blades a few weeks ago, but don't remember the details.

There is a brief note about it in the "For the Wreckord" section in this month's Warbirds International.

Thanks for the photo; that must indeed be the incident I was inquiring about. I hope she's rebuilt and can get flying again. With that in mind does anyone know if there's a repair plan?
Cheers,
Rob

We need a "Gary's Not Gonna Like This" meme.
Glad nobody was hurt, and the damage looks relatively minor.
