I've been asked by a good friend, a Japanese researcher, to try to locate any surviving crew members who flew the Olympic Operation and air-raids on Kajiki and other towns in Kyushu in late Aug 1945.

The Program Producer of NHK (Public Broadcasting Corporation sponsored by the Government) would like to to interview any surviving crew members who participated in the raid on Kajiki on August 11. His intentions are to tell the facts of the war from the US point of view to future Japanese generations and how both sides, winner and loser, suffered.

I can't emphasize how important this is as finally, the Japanese want to tell their youth the truth about WW2, the results and consequences.
