Good thing pilot is O.K, but, No, that was Dreadnaught, with a 4360 and scoop on top of cowl ring. This one appears to be a 3350 powered one, can't tell from the image which SeaFury it is, or if it painted Silver, or more likely Gray/ primer.

Aww, sad to see Joe off in the mud. Damage doesn't look too bad thankfully. He's taken good care of Charlie's plane since he bought it back in 2000 or 2001 from the family. I got a great introduction to the plane when he brought her home to Centennial from Breckenridge as he was doing low-level S-Turns over my house. Will never forget that feeling in my feet and that roar that well drowned out the lawnmower. According to him, he bought the plane after seeing it at Nelson's place, where he'd just dropped off his P-51 "Crusader" to be completely re-wired, because he didn't want to be without a warbird while it was in the shop. I suspect there was more to it than that, but he took the plane as restored to Reno the next year and won Silver Unlimited in it, so he obviously liked it. I'm sure he'll get her put back together in short order and be flying again before next year.

She's been an Ezell Aviation bird for such a long time, maybe she'll be taken care of, back in Breck.
Thanks to all here, for the info. Best of luck to Joe & his beautiful Bird !

Skyraider props will start to get scarece if this happens very often.

You might recall what happened to Charlie in this bird. The brakes locked and he flipped tail over nose and wound up inverted.

Hey Greg, again, Glad Joe is O.K ! I was thinking about the Blades also. But, with the making of ALL kinds of New Warbird parts in Restoration Shops, Maybe (?) The Next Step will be a New Prop Blades one ! Like the two P-82 restorations that got together to have new ones made.
