Years ago the National warplane Museum in Elmira NY had a couple F9F Panther or Cougar cockpit sections sitting outside next to restoration hangar. I have pictures of them somewhere but I haven't been able to find them. Im trying to track down where they went to. The VP of the museum told me he didn't recall other then he thinks they went to another museum.
One of them had a faded orange scheme which is of interest.
Thanks,
Nathan

This is the airplane I am trying to locate. I thought they had two but I guess there was only one. Took the picture in 2006. Im not sure if its a Panther or Cougar, and it seems to have an overall day glo paint scheme.

No idea what happened to the orange Cougar, but the other one is now at the MAPS Air Museum.
