A joint effort by Boeing, Coda Octopus, and NOAA's Office of National Marine Sanctuaries has obtained sonar images of the WWII era light aircraft carrier resting upright and mostly intact in 2,600 feet of water off the Northern California coast.

Awesome, TBDude...I was recently doing some reading on the Indy and the Able/Baker tests, and this really tells the rest of the story! Thanks for posting that.

reading about it here in mainstream media immediately I wondered how dirty it was after being in testing and how many people were exposed to it after; coincidently Brisbane has just been 'advised' about more postwar chemical dumping - on land and the reef.
