I just learned that there was a Lancaster crash in SW Oregon in 1953. I can find very little on the web about the crash. I am going to try to locate the crash site but don't know if there is much left up there. Seems like maybe some salvage occurred at the time of the crash and there may have been more salvage in the 80s. Anyone been up there?

An older guy I know in Port Orford was telling me about this crash the other day. He lived in the area at the time and remembers when it happened. He was recently near the crash sight. I will likely go up there on my motorcycle soon to check it out...
