I like the term water jug. never new the navy tested some for carrier duty. it's sheer weight must have been a negative factor as to why it was rejected. would love to see the test results!!

The Luftwaffe's idea was to go with a camo scheme something on the lines of this photo below on their new "messerbishi's" ... but decided to stick with their more traditional schemes such as the model displays ...
